Even one encounter with a pornographic magazine can impact our whole life and hold us in its grip replaying on the screen of our imagination for years, even defiling our most intimate relationships. These experiences have held us in bondage and hindered us in being able to fully come into intimacy with the Father and the fullness of our destiny. He wants us to partner with Him and come free so we can bloom and flourish and encounter the truth and beauty of His love for us.

He has asked me to be bold and brave bringing this out into the light because His heart is breaking for us all. What we bring into the light is destroyed by the light. We are in a season of healing right now where He is wanting us free from many different areas so we can move forward. He is doing this in many and varied ways.

I myself am experiencing it at present either simply as moments of revelation and understanding, or through repentance and asking forgiveness and receiving His truth over my life to replace lies, or through receiving Liebusts, and in moments of worship when He has shown me the bondage and set me free there and then. Some He will do sovereignly as we position our hearts allowing Him to bring areas of wounding into the light. For some of us it may begin a journey over several weeks and months that may be helped by the addition of counselling, praying it through with someone you trust, journaling and taking communion or using other spirit led healing modalities.

For some of us, trusting Father God or Jesus is an excruciating thought. Just the word Father can be a trigger for some awful memories. He wants us to be brave and courageous now and allow Him to begin our healing journeys. I know that I know, that I know that Jesus loves us with His unconditional love that carries no shame or condemnation with it at all. From the many Liebusts I have done so far, I can categorically say that when Jesus brings healing in this area it is with grace, gentleness and overwhelming love and He replaces it with peace and joy and a wonderous sense of purity and cleanness. He was beside us when we went through our stuff. He has never left us. For some of us that makes us angry that He didn’t stop the things that happened; and I don’t have the answer for that, but if we will take a courageous step and trust Him now, He will bring freedom. Forgiveness of yourself and Him is a process and He understands that.

In Zechariah 3:4 is a beautiful picture of God’s forgiveness and restoration. He wants to pull us out of the destructive flames and set us free.

3 1-2 Next the Messenger-Angel showed me the high priest oshua. He was standing before God’s Angel where the Accuser showed up to accuse him. Then God said to the Accuser, “I, God, rebuke you, Accuser! I rebuke you and choose Jerusalem. Surprise! Everything is going up in flames, but I reach in and pull out Jerusalem!”
3-4 Joshua, standing before the angel, was dressed in dirty clothes. The angel spoke to his attendants, “Get him out of those filthy clothes,” and then said to Joshua, “Look, I’ve stripped you of your sin and dressed you up in clean clothes.”
5 I spoke up and said, “How about a clean new turban for his head also?” And they did it—put a clean new turban on his head. Then they finished dressing him, with God’s Angel looking on.

The enemy loves to remind us of our sin, to bring his accusations over and over again, to defile the screen of our imagination, to bring shame, condemnation and blame upon us. The Blood of Jesus has already answered the accuser’s lies and accusations. Drowning in shame, we have hidden our stuff away from everyone including the Father, but with His loving kindess He wants us to bring it into the light where it can be destroyed. The Blood has already washed us clean, but we must partner with Jesus and appropriate the work of the Blood and the Cross. We don’t have to carry this poison anymore. He wants you to bring it to Him so the Blood can destroy it all – every platform the enemy has set up in your mind, emotions, spirit, soul and body – to wash you clean, restore your DNA, and restore you and your bloodline. Jesus has so many beautiful truths for you to receive about how He truly sees you and loves you.

Psalm 32 in The Passion Translation is a wonderful picture of what undealt with bondage does to us and how beautiful is God’s forgiveness and healing towards us. I really encourage you to read and meditate upon it. Ask Father to open it up for you and speak directly to you.

We are created in His image. When he looks at us, He is looking upon who we really are as He made us. This poison we have carried is not who we are. It is something that happened to us, or a choice that we made that may have come out of generational bondage or unwise decisions. It does not reflect on how the Father sees us. Jesus’ healing lifts off the dirty garment (poison) and replaces it with a white robe of righteousness. That dirty garment no longer has the power to dictate who we are (lies about us) or hinder us from walking joyfully in our destiny.

Girls we are overcomers. Very often in Liebusting the Liebustee will see/experienced God placing a crown of overcoming and victory on her head. He clothes her in a magnificent gown, walks with her through places of beauty, all the while speaking His love and truth to her. This is how He sees us all the time! We are His stunning, beautiful, powerful, and victorious daughters.

HOW CAN YOU RESPOND TO THIS:

1. Firstly we must use wisdom. Don’t suddenly go out and tell your church leaders or even your best friend. Ask Holy Spirit what to do next. Not everyone will understand or needs to know your history. Seek someone you can trust.

2. Ask Holy Spirit for courage to bring all into the light that needs to come forth.

3. Take some time aside with God and repent of any sexual sin you have been a perpetrator of and ask for His forgiveness and to wash you clean and heal you. It would be awesome to take communion at this time too. Taking this first step gives Him permission to take you further on this journey.

4. If you’ve been a victim, ask God to help you to begin to forgive not just your abusers but yourself also (because we often feel we are responsible despite that being a LIE!). Forgiveness is a journey, and God honors the small steps forward. Some of you have had horrendous stuff happen that God may deal with in layers, over time, but every bit of freedom and healing you gain is a victory.

5. Know that God hears your prayers and will respond to the hunger in your heart to be free.

6. Ask Him if you should seek any kind of professional counselling or prayer ministry. There are many available including Liebusting, Sozo, Cleansing Streams, Christian counselling. Your church leaders should know who to put you in touch with (you don’t have to share the details with them) or get in touch with me and I can refer you to someone. If you want a Liebust and prefer to have a stranger do it rather than me, there are other compassionate, experienced Liebusters I can put you in touch with.

7. Be kind to yourself and trust that even though this is challenging and confronting, God loves you and only wants your freedom.

PRAYER FOR COURAGE:
God you know me more than I know myself. You love me in all of my strengths and weaknesses. You declare that there is no condemnation for those who love you and walk daily with you. You see only who you have created me to be, free of shame and bathed in your love and righteousness. Father you know that there are areas of great wounding, guilt, and shame in my life that only you and I are aware of. They have held be bound in a darkness that I have tried to live with despite its grip on me. But God now I am asking you for your great grace and courage to be poured into me. Help me put my handle to the doors where this darkness has held me prisoner and allow you to bring your light and your great love to come in and set me free. I choose to take this first step, trusting that you hide me under the shadow of your wings, a place of safety, and that you will lead me by your Holy Spirit into this journey of healing in Jesus Name. Amen.

THE WHY OF YOU

https://www.spiritedwomen.nz/blog/the-why-of-you

https://www.spiritedwomen.nz/blog/the-why-of-you#comments

Advancement

Personal Growth

Purpose

‘Live your life not as a wandering generality, but as a meaningful specific’. Zig Ziglar
You and I are created for purpose! God never made us to live our lives without reason, without passion and without fruit. He made us to be a solution to every problem, and to impact this world with His love, glory and wisdom.

People who know their passion and have identified their purpose have hope. The Bible says a people without a vision will perish. Millions of people, including Christians, have no hope because they do not know what God’s vision or purpose is for their life. When we as believers know our vision and purpose we are able to encourage and impart that same hope to others.
When we operate in our passion and purpose we also impact future generations for the better. Those who come after us will only have what we leave them. We are stewards of this world, and as such we are called to leave it better than we found it, even if it is in, what we may deem a small way.

God’s encouragement to us is to take the responsibility of creating legacies that will take the next generation to a higher place in Him. We are His ‘sons’. We carry all the authority, power and government we need to bring His kingdom down to earth and in our spheres of influence. Purposefully making our contribution towards others breaks the grip of selfishness and aimlessness that can become a lifestyle of becoming fat in the things of God without bearing fruit. It keeps us focused on the big picture and on the long term impact of our journey on this earth and our inheritance now and in eternity.

We all have dreams of who we want to become or what we want to achieve. We all have a passion about something that drives us to want to make a difference. We all have a purpose - the ultimate end goal of our life that enables us to say at the end of it, ‘I did what I was meant to do, I’ve run my race and reached the goal’. Heb 12:1-3

When we combine our dreams, our passion and our purpose with our gifts, talents, abilities, anointing, calling and life journey experience, we have all that we need to become what God has created us to be and do.

God has deposited in you all that you need. He has given you the Holy Spirit, and an anointing to do what He’s called you to do. We are Sons of God, carriers of His glory, carriers of His presence and authority to affect the lives of those around us and see many come into relationship with Jesus and receive their inheritance in Him.

Most of us will carry out our mandates from the Lord away from the world’s eyes in our families, work places and communities - some in our church family, some locally, some nationally, some globally. We may never be famous here on earth, but God rewards our humility when we allow Him to position us in that place and way that is perfectly designed for each of us individually to play our part in building His kingdom here on earth.

If you’re unsure of all the goodness God has put in you to carry out your purpose, assignments and mandates, let me know. I have an E Book called Activate Your Purpose that can help you. Just drop me an email.

A friend of mine, Amanda Wells, has this declaration we can speak out: ‘Today and all through the year I can do ALL things that are in my design and purpose through Christ who strengthens me...I am not helpless or hopeless, I have a destiny, a design, a purpose and I am not without power. Nothing is impossible for me as I align with my future!’.

ENCOUNTERING GOD'S TRUTH FOR YOURSELF

https://www.spiritedwomen.nz/blog/encountering-gods-truth-for-yourself

https://www.spiritedwomen.nz/blog/encountering-gods-truth-for-yourself#comments

Identity

Love

Spiritual Growth

In a world where we daily, and sometimes hourly encounter lies and negativity it can feel like a constant battle to keep our hearts in a good place, our minds in a positive frame and our souls in a healthy state. One of the most powerful things we can do for ourselves to become whole and healed is to absorb and integrate the truth of who God says we are and how He sees us. We all know that it takes 21 days to break a habit. Likewise knowing and regularly decreeing God's truth about ourselves over our body, soul and spirit will shift the structures in our being that have been supporting the lies we have been believing about ourselves. Below I have set out a framework for you to do that for yourself.

One of the most beautiful segments of a Liebust is encountering God's heart truth about ourselves. Father wants us to know in an intimate, personal and beautiful way how much He loves us. The enemy however, loves it when we keep rehearsing the terrible lies we have thought about and spoken over ourselves for years. Some of them so nasty that we hide them away from God and even ourselves in shame. Some of these lies look like this:

* I'm not worth investing in
* It doesn't matter how hard I try
* I'm small and insignificant
* I'm not a chosen person
* I'm not clean enough for God to use me
* I don't have a voice
* I belong in the gutter

How beautiful though are these truths that I have seen God demonstate and speak over the lives of women who have encountered Him personally as part of a Liebust.

* You are who I say you are
* I don't have to push at doors anymore
* I can be who He made me to be
* I'm protected by God as I step out
* There's a place for me to step into
* Jesus has given me wings to fly
* Everything is coming together and flowing into me

Papa has in that place of intimacy and encounter with Him crowns of overcoming, sceptres of authority and scrolls of destiny to give you. He wants to dance with you in the ballroom of heaven and take you into the River of Life to be refreshed and restored. He has jewels of remembrance, perfumes, flowers, paintings, experiencing the living breath of heaven in the flora and fauna of heaven, words of affirmation to speak over you, keys to give you, rivers of gold and the light of His glory for you to bathe in, elixirs for healing. For you to see barriers being removed, chains broken, doubt destroyed, being clothed in new robes, and encountering true joy and peace. This is what Father has for us and so, so much more. He wants us to enjoy encounter and oneness with Him anytime we go into our secret place with Him.

YOU CAN ENCOUNTER THE TRUTHS ABOUT YOUR OWN LIFE FOR YOURSELF
A Liebust is not necessary to spend time with the Father in this way or to find out His truths about ourselves. We have access to our heavenly Father 24/7. In John 17 Jesus tells us that we are in Him and He is in us. Jesus is the door to the Father and through him we come into that place of intimacy and encounter. It is only a matter of knowing that we are already in that place of intimacy with Him.

"I have given them the glory You gave Me, so that they may be one as We are one. I in them and You in Me— that they may be perfectly united, so that the world may know that You sent Me and have loved them just as You have loved Me. Father, I want those You have given Me to be with Me where I am, that they may see the glory You gave Me because You loved Me before the foundation of the world.…"

Many of us have a few obvious lies that we know we believe about ourselves or speak over ourselves often. Why not ask Father to bring you into His truth to replace those lies.

Here's one way you can do that.
1. Find yourself a quiet, undisturbed place where you can nestle into Jesus.
2. Ask Jesus to cover and protect you with His blood and give you eyes to see and ears to hear or a sense of what Father wants to show you about yourself.
3. Spend some time in gratitude, praise and worship for the goodness of God in your life. He always wants to release His goodness over us.
4. Ask God's forgiveness for the lies you have been believing. Ask Jesus to go to the very root of those lies in your own life or your bloodline and nail them to the Cross. Break all agreement with them and the power they have had over you. Ask Jesus to dismantle every structure in your being that has supported those lies and to bring your DNA back into heavenly alignment.
5. Ask Jesus to show you what happened when you did that and to give you the truths to replace those lies. He may give you words, thoughts, pictures, scripture, a song, a feeling to communicate those truths to you. Write them down. They are now your reality to decree over yourself in the weeks ahead.
6. When you're ready ask Jesus to take you into the Throne Room to see your heavenly Father. Ask the Father what He wants to say to you, or is there something He wants to give you or show you. Write these down too. They are the truths of who you are. Soak in Father's presence.
7. Take communion, acknowledging the cleansing power of Jesus blood through your life. Communion changes our DNA and brings us into alignment with the Father's heart for us.

Remember we are spirit beings, citizens of heaven first, seated in heavenly places with Jesus. We are to live out of that truth, not the lies we encounter in our daily life that the enemy would use to destroy us.

John 8:32 says 'you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free'.

Take a hold of God's truth for you and you will see chains fall off your life, obstacles removed, restoration, healing and freedom become daily truth.

THE LOVE CONNECTION

https://www.spiritedwomen.nz/blog/the-love-connection

https://www.spiritedwomen.nz/blog/the-love-connection#comments

Love

Personal Growth

THE LOVE COMPONENT:It is an active, conscious choice to value, respect and affirm people without prejudice or judgement. For me these two chapters reflect an attitude of heart we should strive for in all of our giving, however and to whomever we give. (I am not going to address the tithing question in here. If you're a tither do it with a generous spirited heart attitude).

Did you know that there is a grace that empowers us to give (8v1). In 2 Corinthians 8:7 Paul states that our grace-filled generosity is just as important as our unstoppable faith, powerful preaching, revelation knowledge, passionate devotion and sharing love. The Macedonian church was under tremendous suffering and extreme poverty, and yet they gave extravagantly, far beyond what they could afford, to their brothers and sisters in Christ in Jerusalem. It says that they gave with super-abundant, overflowing joy despite their circumstances. Wow, what a testimony of their love for Christ and their heart to please Him.

Let's go over some of the highlights of these two chapters:

8 v 10 - they set an intention to give, and were encouraged by Paul to honor that intention they had set in their hearts. Intentional giving is an act of worship.

He encourages them to give according to their ability to give, 'for if the intention and desire are there, the size of the gift doesn't matter'. He wasn't saying be stingy, he was saying because they are giving with a good heart and as much as they are able, it is fully acceptable to God. We are to give according to what we have, not what we don't have.

8 v 13 Paul states our surplus could meet another's need. We are to ease each other's burdens. This does not mean that you go without food for your kids in order to give, but out of what you willingly want to share or out of what you have in abundance. There are many, many different ways we can give, and many different kinds recipients we can give to.

8 v 20 Paul talks about 'sending a team in order to avoid any criticism over how we handle this wonderfully generous gift'. Here he is talking about integrity and accountability. We are often the recipients of blessing in many different ways. In the past I have seen people receive generosity and waste, mishandle or neglect what they have been given. It dishonors both the gift and the giver. When we receive a monetary gift especially, we can ask Holy Spirit if a portion or all of that gift should be sown onward to someone else.

9 v 2 These Macedonians were passionate about their giving, and so enthusiastic about it that it stirred others up to do the same but they gave out of willing, happy hearts and not out of last minute compulsion. Plan your giving - ask God ahead of time who, when, how, how much? Imagine asking Him at the beginning of the year how much he wants you to sow to missions, to your fellowship, to individuals, to charities and then putting that amount aside so you can do so with a happy heart and clear intention.

9 v 6 Sowing out of a stingy heart will not reap us a meager harvest. Giving is to flow from our heart not from our heads or from religious duty. There is meant to be joy in our giving and the harvest we reap is more grace, more than enough of everything (in the Greek this means independently wealthy, needing nothing!), overflowing with abundance in every good thing we do.

SEED FOR THE SOWER
God gives us bread to eat and seed to sow. In other words He supplies our daily needs plus an abundance to sow out of, and then He multiplies it! I remember somebody saying to me one day 'if only people would realize what they are doing when they eat their seed all the time'. When we sow and God multiplies it there is more to give out of, but in addition we are blessed in every other area of our lives also.

Paul encourages us to be generous on every occasion. To me that means whenever I have the opportunity to sow I should, and also be as generous as I can within my ability to give, and with a joy-filled heart. In vs 11-13 it says 'it causes many to give thanks to God', and in vs 12 'it will cause them to give glory to God'.

Verse 14 - our giving will cause them to remember us in their prayers. You know one of the most wonderful things I find about giving is that it builds relationship between people. It causes them to hold us in their hearts, to lift their praises to God and to speak blessing over our lives.

However, the ultimate purpose of our giving is to bring glory to God!
